Feast of breaking the fasting, Eid
al Fitr, is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It is celebrating across
the country (Nepal) today, i.e. Friday. Government of Nepal has issued a notice,
Friday will be celebrated Eid and announced Public holiday. The government offices, schools and
some private offices remains closed. Eid al Fitr is a great festival for
muslims. It is celebrated with great ceremony in muslims country. They decorated
homes, garden, roads and prepare delicious meals, invite relatives and friends
and celebrate in happily. This day muslims from all over the world show a
common goal of unity.
It marks the end of Ramadan. Somewhere
Ramadan is also known as ‘Ramzan’. The day of Eid is varies on the various
country of world. It is based on the observation of new moon by local religious
authorities. Most of the countries celebrated as on the Saudi Arabia, where the
Muslim religion was originated.
The festival of Eid is completion
of about 30 days fasting whole the day (Sunrise to Sunset) during the entire month
of Ramadan. It is observed as a fasting period of muslims, who give up food and
water during the whole day. Ramadan is the ninth month of Islamic lunar
calendar. Therefore the Eid day is on the first day of Arabic month ‘Shawwal’.
